NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT/REVIEW

In accordance with the Public Participation Process developed by the Old Colony Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Old Colony Planning Council (OCPC) is making the Draft FFY 2009 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) available for public review. The UPWP provides a description of the overall transportation related planning activities, ongoing and anticipated, in the OCPC region during the forthcoming year. Copies of the UPWP are available for review at the OCPC Offices (8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), will be posted to: http://www.ocpcrpa.org/ and/or upon request. This notice will initiate a Public Review period. Written comments will be accepted up to 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2008. This process will also be used as Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT’s) public participation process. As part of the public participation process, a public meeting of the Joint Transportation Committee will be held on August 14, 2008 at 12 PM. Additionally, the Old Colony Metropolitan Planning Organization will meet on August 20, 2008 at 10 AM to hear the results of the public comment period.
