The Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan (HST) identifies the Old Colony MPO region's unmet human-service transportation needs, describes the region's current transportation network and transportation providing agencies and provides ideas for improving transportation services. The HST Plan is prepared by the MPO to allow organizations in the region to be eligible to receive funding from the Federal Transit Administration's Section 5310 transit funding program. This program provides capital and operations funding for services for the elderly and persons with disabilities.
The Old Colony MPO seeks the input from the region in understanding their unmet transportation needs. Below are links where you can have you voice heard in helping the MPO identify gaps in the transportation network, which keeps you, or people you know in getting transportation to destination through the Old Colony region.
