Old Colony Planning Council uses Pictometry images for planning projects. Pictometry International is a provider of high-resolution aerial photography and the software that can be used to visualize these images overlaid with GIS data. In addition to the directly-overhead orthophoto view, Pictometry includes oblique photographs, which are useful for determining building heights and other features not easily seen from an orthophoto.

Old Colony Planning Council can assist in setting up Pictometry software and can provide user support. For more information, contact GIS Manager Andrew Vidal by email or at 508-583-1833 extension 208.
